K-Kamp Day 1: A Complete Success!

Hello Kampers!

I hope this post finds you well and recovered from last week's Kamp! I'm so proud of all of you! You worked so hard and did so well!! And, I know a few of you that I've talked to felt the effects of all that effort.  I can't wait for you to see the improvements of week 2.  

And for those who haven't become an official Kamper, it's time to get started!

Physical progress is multi-faceted.  We know it's complicated.  We have all had days of frustration when we feel like we are doing everything right but don't see the results we want.  Confusion is a bad teacher, so don't listen to it.  I want you to know that moving is always valuable!  You can anchor your questions on the truth that your efforts to move are taking you closer to your physical goals.  You can bank on the investment you're making in your body; it is not a waste of time or effort or money.  

The movements we do in Kamp are very purposeful.  The systems we are using are permanent and foundational.  They are the building blocks for all other progress, but as I'm sure you felt as some point, they aren't easy.  I want you to feel the purpose behind the movements and the difficulty of meeting the challenge head on.  Kamp is not for the faint of heart, but you can begin to build or repair your fitness foundation.  The push on your heart, lungs, balance, and strength is by design.  Nothing is arbitrary.  I hope that makes you feel secure that you're in safe hands.  I'm giving you my best to bring you to your next level, wherever that is.  Thank you for giving me the chance to influence you and move alongside you!
