Jumping 101
Even the smallest elevation with your body makes an impact in your physical game. Jumping is far too beneficial to ignore if you want physical changes:
metabolic increases....fast twitch muscle fiber activation....increased cardiovascular activity....bone density increases...muscular stretch/strength multiplied....time efficient intensity
Psychologically, jumping is not easy. But, why then do these idioms give us hope for a good end?
leap of faith....fall in love....leap for joy....hop to it....jump start....hop, skip, and a jump....jump at the chance....jump in with both feet....jump at the opportunity....quantum leap....by leaps and bounds
Whether you're faced with the physical challenge of adding jump training to your routine, or if your next professional move is a start-up, both actions must begin with a small hop. Build on the success of even the smallest space above ground. I'm not sure if you can see it or not, but I'm jumping in this photo, ever so slightly. It's an uncomfortable place to be if it's new to you, but the guarantee is there...you will get better at it and see gains. Practice adding elevation to every part of your life and see how high you can leap.
